MADD Magazine at BAMMA Premier - 27  June

BAMMA is the British Association of Mixed Martial Arts and there will be three BAMMA events this year airing on Bravo.

MMA is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK. BAMMA is the first mixed martial art premiership that focuses on nurturing and showcasing established and rising British MMA talent.

BAMMA wants to transform the reputation of MMA in the UK and aims to broaden the sport’s appeal and prove that it’s exciting, technical and can be enjoyed by all sports fans.

The first event will be held on the 27th June and will air on Bravo on Sunday 28th June and feature the semi final fights in the following weight categories- welter weight, middle weight and light weight.

There will be two fights in each weight category and the winners from each of the fights will go through to the BAMMA final and have a chance of winning a prized BAMMA belt.

In the first BAMMA event we can expect to see a electrifying and nail biting meeting between Tom ‘Kong’ Watson and John Maguire. This promises to be a superb fight as Maguire is unbeaten in his last ten fights. We can also expect a clash of the light weights titans when Abdul Mohammed goes head to head with Tim Radcliffe.
